Barry Somers and Julie Elkins went along to Wellington Coop today on behalf of 10Radio. We expressed our ongoing thanks to Helen Blackman and Janine Stedman (Coop Member Pioneers) who work for the Coop Community fund. With funds donated by the Coop, we have been able to support Primary School children to be trained to broadcast their own radio shows.

Enormous thanks to 10Radio presenter Pete Watts, Nick Harvey (In the Mix) and Ben Elkins who through strength and ingenuity managed to replace the old wheelchair ramp. They gave up a long morning and have done a fantastic job.  Thanks again for this great work which will keep us all safe when accessing the studio.

Yes, the Co-op has selected 10Radio to be one of the local community causes that they are supporting this year. In particular, they are helping us to raise funds towards the second round of our school's project whereby we are taking broadcasting equipment and expertise into some of our local primary schools to give some of the children experience in putting together their own radio show.
