At 10Radio we were so sad to her of the death of Eileen McHardy long time and dedicated listener to and supporter of 10Radio. She was particularly a devoted follower of our breakfast shows, and Jill Bond has put together our tribute to her which can be heard on Weds 8th April at 5.00 pm and repeated on Sat 11th April at 9.00 am

.... and thanks too to Hinton Blewitt (aka Vince Trent), Vince had a couple of guests on his show who run a Jive club in Somerset. Each month they have a social meeting/dance and raise money for good causes. Last month they choose 10Radio and when they came on 10Radio last time donated £250 to Hinton. On Saturday the 6th of September, 10Radio visited Cotford St Luke Fete organised to celebrate 25 years of the village. There were many stalls, games and food suppliers along with music from Wiveliscombe Wind Band, Taunton Ukulele Strummers Group and even Belly Dancers!
Each September, RSPB run special tours at RSPB Ham Wall in Somerset, via canoe - providing a really unique opportunity to experience the reserve as much of its special wildlife does, at water level. Further to the announcement that Anton Matthews, 10radio's former station manager and technical director, has died, we can confirm that his memorial service took place on Saturday 6th September at 2.00 pm in St Michael's Church, Milverton.
