The JMS has rapidly become a ‘must-listen’ for many, with regular listeners not just from the the Wivey area, but from all over the country – and some from other parts of the world.
Eclectic is always the word on the JMS – the tracks are carefully chosen from many people’s suggestions and from many genres and eras. The JMS faithful now span the globe and listeners always come up with terrific suggestions to support the highly varied themes of each monthly show.
With many of the tunes, there’s a chance to learn, via John’s Mancunian tones, the background to the tracks and artistes featured.
The keynote is that the music is always, always listenable, hand-picked by John as being worth your time and your ears.
The JMS goes out on the second Friday of each month at 7 and the 4th Thursday at 4. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.
