Further to the announcement that Anton Matthews, 10radio's former station manager and technical director, has died, we can confirm that his memorial service took place on Saturday 6th September at 2.00 pm in St Michael's Church, Milverton.
Once again, 10Radio was able to return to the Taunton Flower Show to broadcast live porgrammes across the two days. These included opporutnities to support and air live performances from some of the artistes appearing at the show and on the Fountain stage and interviews with some of the stall holders and visitors to the show. The new Outside Broadcast gazebo and equipment support for supporting local fetes and events has now been purchased with the asisstance of a generous grant from the Jim Laker Fund.
