10Radio 15th Birthday

Andrew Norris and Ani Brayley hosted a birthday celebration show for our 15th year of broadcasting with the full licence. Many of the presenters past and present gathered to offer their stories and reflections on our wonderful 15 years as a Community radio station. Many friends and presenters phoned in to wish us a happy birthday or sent pre-recorded messages with their birthday wishes. All of this was interspersed with some wonderful celebratory songs, fit for the occasion.

The birthday show was a wonderful occasion but we aren’t stopping the party there! We aim to keep the celebrations going throughout the year. So, the 10Parishes Festival takes place this year from 9th to 17th September and we’re planning to hold an Open Studio event during the week giving people an opportunity to see how live radio works. And we’re hoping too to organise a 10Radio concert and party.
