9 Eve Warburton is a Member Activator – Somerset with the Coop and today she tells listeners about Co-operative Fortnight and an upcoming Co-op Members’ event which she is delivering in Wiveliscombe on 10th July at the Community Centre.
9.30 “Little Ears Somerset” is a growing grassroots community created by and for families in Somerset raising deaf and hard of hearing (HOH) children. As a local mum navigating this journey with her son, Chloe Smith founded Little Ears to offer the kind of connection and support she couldn’t always find when she first began. Chloe is working closely with organisations like the National Deaf Children’s Society and Somerset Council to ensure no family ever feels alone on this path and today she talks about this journey.
9.55 David Patterson and Sam Matthews of Wivey Cares tell listeners how the fund raising week went and what was raised!
10.15 “Tales from the Kitchen” Kate Benson updates listeners on food news from the Kitchen and the Pantry.
10.35 Sampford Arundel Fete is on Saturday 12th July and today John Burgess tells listeners about the delights of this lovely country event, much of which will include our own Andrew, Wellington’s Town Crier!

Andrew, aka "The Rockin Revd", is a retired priest living in Wellington who has been involved with 10Radio since its beginnings. Currently, he hosts the Home Service, a weekly programme bringing Christian worship & local churches to people's front rooms and also has his own Breakfast show on a saturday morning. He also co-presents 10Radio's Community Show with Pauline Homeshaw and is the current chair of 10Radio.
10Radio is a community radio station serving the 10 parishes in West Somerset which incorporate Wiveliscombe, Ashbrittle, Bathealton, Brompton Ralph, Chipstable, Clatworthy, Fitzhead, Huish Champflower, Milverton, Stawley and Wellington and the surrounding area.
