 10  “The History Man” Mike Menhenitt, Chair of Wellington Museum, takes us though the Anglo Saxon centuries with dates, battles, settlements and legends and their legacy upon Wellington and the surrounding areas.

10.30    Steve Couch is RSPB Warden at Ham Wall in South Somerset and he tells 10Radio about a crane chick which has successfully hatched and is now about 12 weeks old.  The Great Crane Project, created in 2010 has re-introduced cranes to the UK having been entirely lost for about 400 years.

Andrew, aka "The Rockin Revd", is a retired priest living in Wellington who has been involved with 10Radio since its beginnings. Currently, he hosts the Home Service, a weekly programme bringing Christian worship & local churches to people's front rooms and also has his own Breakfast show on a saturday morning. He also co-presents 10Radio's Community Show with Pauline Homeshaw and is the current chair of 10Radio.
