9  Revd Jamie Fox, new Rector at St Andrew’s and The Hills Churches joins the Community Show to talk about what Easter means to him

9.30  “Suzie Grogan’s Talking Books”  This month, Suzie talks to performance poet and ‘Professor of Whimsy’ Robert Garnham, whose poems, jokes and japes are mixed with an LGBTQ social sensibility to provide a unique act that has won him fans nationwide.

10  Keira Chard graduated from Guildford School of Acting in 2020 with a Masters degree in Theatre. She also holds a Musical Theatre Degree from Bath Spa University. Kiera has been performing since she was 12 years old and professionally for the past 3 years. She is trained in ballet, jazz, tap and commercial dance. Her Dance Troupe, involved in Wellington Pantomime’s production of Dick Whittington, was nominated in Somerset Fellowship of Drama’s Cinderella Awards for ‘Best Dance Troupe’.  Kiera has also recently appeared on screen for ITV, BBC, Amazon Prime and Netflix.  Today – it’s 10Radio!

 10.20  “L B Loxley’s Wildlife” Our blackbird population could be under threat from a mosquito borne virus. Just how serious is this threat, and is there anything we can do to help?  This week, LB talks about this issue and encourages you to take part in a British Trust for Ornithology survey on blackbird sightings in your garden.

Andrew, aka "The Rockin Revd", is a retired priest living in Wellington who has been involved with 10Radio since its beginnings. Currently, he hosts the Home Service, a weekly programme bringing Christian worship & local churches to people's front rooms and also has his own Breakfast show on a saturday morning. He also co-presents 10Radio's Community Show with Pauline Homeshaw and is the current chair of 10Radio.
