This week:-

9  Jessie Monday is performing a one woman show on 9th May in St Andrew’s when she sings her own compositions and accompanies herself on the piano and guitar.  Jessie has loved music since she was a child and is now studying for her Masters degree at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts

9.15  The Band of the Royal Marines Lympstone is returning to Wiveliscombe for the third time and organiser and retired Marine Charlotte Stus tells listeners what a treat they are in for on Saturday 2nd May when they perform in St Andrew’s Church.

9.30  Wiveliscombe Town Councillor Peter Berman updates listeners on Council matters.

10           Caron Spence is part of the Taunton Health Hub and today she talks about how various problems can be alleviated by talks, workshops and wellbeing days.  The next workshop is tomorrow 25th April at the Friends Meeting House in Taunton when people can learn more from Danielle Bryant, researcher and health educator in holistic health.

10.30    At Josephine’s Star, support is available to children and their families in Somerset when someone special has died. Charity founder Leif Tarry talks about the small bereavement charity, formed by a group of professionals who know how important it is for children to have the opportunity of help and support in their grief.

Andrew, aka "The Rockin Revd", is a retired priest living in Wellington who has been involved with 10Radio since its beginnings. Currently, he hosts the Home Service, a weekly programme bringing Christian worship & local churches to people's front rooms and also has his own Breakfast show on a saturday morning. He also co-presents 10Radio's Community Show with Pauline Homeshaw and is the current chair of 10Radio.
