10.15  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this cancer remains one of the most common cancer types globally with over 2 million new cases reported in 2022 alone.  Today we hear from Nazanin,       a professor specialising in psychopathology about living with secondary breast cancer and her colleague Vickie who has recently experienced a recurrence of breast cancer.

10.30  Action Ethiopia is a charity created by Piers Langdon whose aim is to support communities affected by war, climate change, deprivation and the most basic facilities to sustain life.  Today Piers talks about his passion for the people, his family connections and his hopes for the future of this beautiful country.
