2. “L B Loxley’s Wildlife” This week LB unearths the fascinating and secret world of the mole.
3. Wiveliscombe Town Councillor Peter Berman updates listeners on matters of concern to the Town Council.
4. “The Saga of the Centurion Tank and the Tin of Cheese” – the title of a new book put together by two Clatworthy residents, Peter Moran and Chris Sanders. The book recalls stories from Peter’s career as a 16 year old REME recruit to his retirement as a “grizzled” Major. This is the story about a “soldiers soldier”.
5. Fiona Macdonald is the creator of Feral Practice and for the last three months she has produced three programmes for 10Radio about rivers, introducing Project Tonal, highlighting water issues in the UK, with a special focus on the River Tone. The focus has been on pollution in our rivers and seas, the flow and management of water systems and finally how might we belong to a river? Fiona ponders on the life of a river and how we need to treat water as sacred and not just a commodity and today she wraps up her programmes with her hopes and fears for the future.
