The Saturday Night Gang – LIVE!

With Jon Collier, Tracey Thorne and Tim Davis   Broadcasting LIVE alternate Saturdays at 18.30 for 90 minutes of fun, laughter and total chaos on Somerset’s best Community Radio Station, 10Radio here in Wiveliscombe on 105.3FM and streaming on the web at 10Radio.org. Also we’re on smart speakers and plus on our very own 10Radio app. We don’t always stick to the same genre every time we broadcast as we like to […]

My name is Jon Collier and I was born with a disability called Cerebral Palsy also I suffer from a stutter meaning that sometimes when I speak I will struggle to get my words out but I always manage to get them out in the end, and I first became interested in Radio broadcasting back in 2004 where I attended a special needs school and college in Exeter called The West Of England school and college, there they had a radio station called VI Radio which I use to help out with LIVE radio shows and during my short period of time I spent there you can most definitely say I caught the Radio broadcasting bug there and then (the VI stands for Visually Impaired).

But however, it wasn’t until 2012 “A total of 4 years after I moved into Northfield House in Williton” that I first heard about this awesome and amazing radio station called 10Radio since then I have been a 10Radio presenter and broadcaster for a number of years and I’m still there and I have met lots of great and awesome people who I must say have “become friends for life”  so you could say that I absolutely love and adore my 10Radio family..

Below you will find a picture of me in the 10Radio studio not long after I first joined this awesome and amazing radio station 10Radio..
