My love is World Music, and I particularly love the music that comes from West Africa, Mali, Ghana and Nigeria; China and Japan. I am never quite sure how it happened, but I have developed a deep understanding of Japanese girl bands. I delved into the various youth subcultures through a short course through Kieo University, Tokyo. I used to have a World Music show on Sunday afternoons, but then I got offered the Drivetime slot. Since COVID I have been recording from home.
