Fitzhead Fete

In only its second outing, the new 10Radio Outside broadcast set up made both its, and 10Radio’s debut appearance at the Fitzhead Fete on 26th July.  Held in the beautiful surroundings of the Fitzhead Cricket Club ground, the Fitzhead Fete has the well earned reputation of being one of the most attractive and succesful village fetes in the area, regularly raising over £5,000. It was also an event regularly supported by our late Anton Matthews and his wife Linda, and so it was a particular privelege to welcome Linda at the fete and ask attendees to acknowledage Anton’s loss by showing an appreciative tribute of applause.

With the help of George Gamble and Eddie Gaines, this was also an opportunity to fully test 10Radio’s new OB equipment where we trialled recording our PA with a view to future live Outside Broadcasts
