10Radio Out and About: Supporting Our Local Community Events

During the first couple of weeks of September, 10Radio was delighted to support three much-loved local events: the Howard Road Funday in Wellington, the Milverton Beer Festival and the Wiveliscombe Street Fair. At each event, our team helped provide a lively focal point for organisers, participants and visitors.

Our presenters and 10Radio gazebo provided a welcoming and visible base for our PA equipment and commentary from members of our presenting team helping organisers share announcements, keep visitors informed, showcase activities and celebrate everyone taking part. Together, these contributions added energy to each occasion and helped create a strong sense of connection within the community.

Supporting events like these is an important part of 10Radio’s ongoing brief. By providing practical equipment, experienced presenters and a platform that helps local voices be heard, we can continue to strengthen community connections and support the volunteers and organisations who make our area such a vibrant place to live.
