Our own 10radio Country music legend dies

It is with much sadness we announce the loss of our very own Country Cowboy Doug Parish who has suddenly and unexpectedly gone to the great prairie in the sky.  Doug was one of the foundational presenters of 10Radio and, along with his wife Majory, presented one of the most authorative and yet entertaining country music programmes on radio anywhere.  Couple with his extensive knowledge and passion for country music,  Doug spent time with and was respected by many musicians and fellow country enthusiasts of the country music genre including the legendary Bob Harris.  He displayed both huge knowledge and yet with a deep humility and his suppoort and enthsiasm for 10Radio has been unwavering.. He  will be greatly missed. We send our love and condolences to Marjorie and all his family.
