 9       Drivers will have seen the new Speedwatch flashing signs indicating what speed you are doing as you approach the signs. Today, Charlotte Stus, coordinator of the local Speedwatch team, talks about the signs, where they will be placed and their advantages to both pedestrians and other drivers.

9.30  Volunteering is in the blood for David Patterson and today he talks about the power and fulfilment of volunteering in our lives, touching on some of the areas he has worked in over many years of giving back.

10 Wiveliscombe Town Council Chair Roger Wilson updates listeners on matters of concern and note in our town

10.30   Lorraine Pascale, TV chef, author and former model has joined a campaign to shine a light on the many women over 50 who say they have struggled with their mental health since reaching that age milestone. The “No More Stiff Upper Lip” collection has been launched to support and tackle issues that many women feel and today she details what this campaign can offer. 

10.45  Last week was the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Liz Roost, shares a poignant story of what impact Christians coming together can have in sometimes unlikely contexts

Andrew, aka "The Rockin Revd", is a retired priest living in Wellington who has been involved with 10Radio since its beginnings. Currently, he hosts the Home Service, a weekly programme bringing Christian worship & local churches to people's front rooms and also has his own Breakfast show on a saturday morning. He also co-presents 10Radio's Community Show with Pauline Homeshaw and is the current chair of 10Radio.
