9  “Tales from the Kitchen”  Kate Benson talks about preparing meals for the Christmas period with her enthusiastic volunteers at Wivey Kitchen and the Wivey Pantry.

9.30       Southern Sinfonia launches Southern Consort, a new period instrument ensemble who will perform Bach’s Christmas Oratorio in Bath on Saturday 13th December.  Artistic Director John Warner tells listeners about this exciting addition to the Sinfonia featuring players from among the UK’s leading period ensembles including the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

 9.40  “L B Loxley’s Wildlife”  This week LB looks into the fascinating world of the stickleback.

 10  “The Nutcracker” (Not the ballet!)  Vic Hole, Artistic Programme Co-Manager, joins the show to talk about the Brewhouse Theatre’s Christmas production, just opened and playing until 28th December – a show for the whole family.

10.30    Val Hammond is a founder member of the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre in Taunton and she has very deservedly been awarded an honour at the Civic Awards.  These celebrate individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the local community and Val is so very deserving of this recognition. (First   broadcast on 11th April)

Andrew Norris

Andrew, aka "The Rockin Revd", is a retired priest living in Wellington who has been involved with 10Radio since its beginnings. Currently, he hosts the Home Service, a weekly programme bringing Christian worship & local churches to people's front rooms and also has his own Breakfast show on a saturday morning. He also co-presents 10Radio's Community Show with Pauline Homeshaw and is the current chair of 10Radio.
