2 A recent survey shows that almost 9 in 10 parents are using online search to help to understand their child’s weird and wonderful world, and on average adults may be searching over 5 times a week. Some of these idiosyncrasies can be explained simply by diagnosing physical issues such as poor eyesight. We talk to Dr Elizabeth Kilbey, a child psychologist and Dr Josie Foitier, clinical lead from Specsavers as to why there is a reluctance to seek face to face professional support.
3 “Annelie” is the story of Anneliese Sluweski, a German Jewish child born in 1928 and raised in Berlin. Now in her late 80’s, Annelie has clear, sharp memories of her childhood and upbringing which she narrates to camera with engaging warmth, humour and style. Film director Noel Chanan talks to 10 Radio about the making of the film which is to be shown for the first time in Milverton on 12th December. (First broadcast 5th Dec 2014)
