This week I will be interviewing Geoffrey Mackett. Geoffrey and I met years ago when he was working at what was then Somerset County Council in his role as Emergency Planning and Civil Contingencies Officer. I also know Geoffrey and his beautiful wife Jun socially. Geoffrey is a registrar of marriages, he enjoys listening to Japanese Girl Bands and Chinese Folk Music, he swims and throws himself off tall buildings to raise money for charities, he has a programme on 10 Radio as well, and he’s always been a gentleman and a charmer with a great sense of humour.
