New 10Radio Development Manager Appointed

10Radio is delighted to announce the appointment of Anton Matthews as the new Development Manager for the station which broadcasts 24/7 to the 10 Parishes and beyond on 105.3MHz FM from Wiveliscombe in Somerset.

 

The Chairman of 10 Radio, Julian Mellor, said  “We are all extremely confident that Anton, who has already played a significant role as a volunteer, will bring his wealth of business acumen and knowledge to help us grow the financial sustainability of 10Radio as a community radio station and social enterprise.  He will also develop and promote wider community awareness of and involvement in 10Radio's activities."

 

Anton Matthews, who has for many years had a successful career within the telecommunications industry as well as considerable time spent as a recording engineer (The Who, Hawkwind, Rolling Stones, Slade, Eagles) said on his appointment  “This is a huge honour for me and I know that I will be able to rely on help and support from all the dedicated volunteers in 10Radio who have already created a fantastic broadcast station serving the 10 Parishes and beyond”.

 

“I am very much looking forward to one of my first tasks meeting volunteers, presenters and those in the 10Parishes community who listen to 10Radio regularly at a Public Meeting on Wednesday 16th July in the Wiveliscombe Community Centre opposite the 10Radio Studio”
